Hamlin Impact Report: July- December 2022

July- December 2022

It is a pleasure to share this update about treatment results at Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia with you.

A total of 1,662 life-changing surgeries were performed across Hamlin’s five regional fistula hospitals during the second half of 2022.

Hamlin’s patient identification program is instrumental in driving up the number of surgeries as more and more women in remote regions are found and treated for their fistula injuries.

Your generosity gives women love, hope and the opportunity to regain their lives through life-changing surgery and care at Hamlin.

We’re so grateful you are on this journey with us to eradicate fistula from Ethiopia.

The Treatment Dashboard is used to record patient admission rates, the number and type of surgical procedures undertaken, the fistula closure rate, the incontinence cure rate, and the number of patients and outpatients discharged at each of Hamlin’s fistula hospitals. Click here to see our full Treatment Dashboard.
